Arkansas Outdoor Track and Field Meets Recap Week 4
April 21, 2003
Track season got into full swing as ten meets benefited from warmer, although windy, weather. With the season at its mid point, the athletes responded with six DyeStat Elite marks in five meets. Pole vaulters took top billing as Stephanie Irwin (Mt. Ida),previously 2nd on the Arkansas All-Time Best List, tied Jodie Mayes (Fayetteville) at 12’ 0” at the Scrapper Relays in Nashville, AR on April 10. A week later on April 17, Irwin took sole possession of the top spot with a 12’ 4” vault at the Jessieville Relays while also winning the 100m and long jump.
